What:       Cape Cod League All-Star Charity Home Run Hitting Contest

When:      5:00 p.m.,  Saturday, July 21

Where:    Fuller Field, Falmouth, Massachusetts

Opportunity:    The Cape Cod Baseball League will be hosting a home run hitting contest prior to the annual Cape Cod League All-Star game. The Cape Cod League seeks two TV sports anchors to hit on the East and West All-Star teams.

Why attend:     Sponsors Sprint PCS and Staples will donate $1,000 and in-kind products in the name of the TV station on the winning squad to the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod.

     The home run hitting contest immediately precedes the Cape Cod League All-Star game, which is a unique local story because it features the very best players in amateur baseball. The league has produced such as stars as Nomar, Jeff Bagwell (Houston Astros), Sean Casey (Cincinnati Reds), and Jeff Kent (San Francisco Giants).
