Cape League All-Stars 2005

The final Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star team has been announced and it includes three members of the Harwich Mariners; infielder (third baseman) Scott Sizemore, outfielder Chris Emmanuele and pitcher Tim Lincecum. 


Scott Sizemore of the Harwich Mariners was named to the Cape League's All-Star team after hitting .303.

Sizemore hit .303 with one homer and 13 RBIs. He had 46 hits on the season. 

Emanuele hit .312 (.320 with Harwich), after starting the season with the Brewster Whitecaps. He had two homers and 16 RBIs among his 48 hits. 

Lincecum was 2-2 with a 0.69 ERA in 39 innings of work over 19 games. He had seven saves and struck out 68 in those 39 innings.

Aaron Bates (Brewster), first base; Evan Longoria (Chatham) second base; Emmanuel Burriss (Orleans) shortstop; Chris Coughlan (Chatham) third base; Colin Curtis (Orleans) outfield; Alex Presley (Chatham) outfield; Baron Frost (Chatham) outfield; Mark Hamilton (Falmouth) designated hitter; Jeff Kindel (Y-D) designated hitter; Jon Still (Falmouth) catcher; Sean Gaston (Cotuit) catcher; Andrew Miller (Chatham), Daniel Bard (Wareham), Jared Hughes (Chatham), Tim Norton (Falmouth) and Jon Lalor (Wareham) starting pitchers; Derrick Lutz (Chatham) and Tim Lincecum (Harwich) closer; and Brad Lincoln (Bourne) utility.
