Y-D, Cotuit each gain one spot on Cape League All-Stars
An indication of the difficult season the 2004 Cape Cod Baseball League champion Yarmouth-Dennis had is evident with a look at the 21-member All-Star selections.
Only designated hitter Jeff Kindel of Georgia Tech was named to the team.
Cotuit, which was eliminated from the West Division playoffs by Bourne in two games, placed catcher Sean Gaston of Notre Dame on the elite team.
East Division runnerup Chatham showed the way with seven players on the squad, while Harwich had three. The champion Orleans Cardinals had two representatives.
