Cape League hosts military all-stars

Thirty-three players from all 10 franchises will represent the Cape Cod Baseball League this weekend when they take on the U.S. Military All-Stars as part of their 2006 Red, White and Blue Tour of America.

The CCBL will host two exhibition games: Saturday at Veterans Field in Chatham at 7 p.m. and Sunday at Lowell Park in Cotuit at 4 p.m.

In addition, the U.S. Military All-Stars will host a free children's baseball clinic 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Veterans Field in Chatham and again Sunday at McKeon Park in Hyannis from noon to 2 p.m. The clinics are sponsored by Bank of America.
