Cape League results for June 16

Cotuit 10, Bourne 4

The Cotuit Kettleers raised their record to 2-0 with a win 10-4 win over Bourne on Monday. Dan Jennings picked up the win for Cotuit, which will host Wareham tonight. The Braves are now 0-2 on the season and will travel to Chatham to face the A’s tonight in a battle of winless teams.
Harwich 4, Chatham 1

The Mariners are now 2-0 on the season after beating the A’s behind starter Ryan Quigley’s six innings of shutout ball. The Mariners will host the defending Cape League champs tonight at Whitehouse Field while the A’s host the Bourne Braves.
Hyannis 1, Falmouth 0

The Mets got a lone run in the fourth inning to defeat the Falmouth Commodores. Hyannis is now 2-0 on the year and will travel to Brewster tonight. Falmouth is 1-1 on the year and will travel to Orleans tonight in the first game at Eldredge ark this summer.
Wareham 2, Orleans 0

The Gateman shutout the Cardinals 2-0 on four hits on Monday night. The 1-1 Wareham squad will travel to Cotuit tonight while the 1-1 Cardinals will host Falmouth at 7 p.m. at Eldredge Park.
Brewster 2, Y-D 2

The Whitecaps and Red Sox went the distance without a winner as the teams earned a 2-2 draw on Monday night. The 0-1-1 Brewster team will host the Mets, while Y-D travels to Harwich.
