Cape League results for June 26

Chatham 7, Bourne 4
Chatham's Grant Green continues to hit well, connecting for another three hits during the A's win over Bourne on Thursday. Corey Olson also had three hits and scored three runs. Matt Zoltak picked up the win, pitching three innings of three hit, one run relief. Brad Boxberger earned his fourth save of the year. Bourne's Kyle Roller had a pair of hits and drove in two runs. Chatham will host Wareham while Bourne will travel to Y-D.

Cotuit 10, Y-D 3
The Kettleers scored eight runs in the first two innings and rolled from there. Cotuit had only one player have a multi-hit game but still managed to pound out 10 total hits. Nick Hernandez picked up the win, pitching five innings with three hits and two unearned runs. Cotuit will play Falmouth and Y-D will host Bourne.

Orleans 2, Falmouth 0
Orleans pitchers Martin Viramontes and Matt Thomson combined to throw eight innings of shutout ball as the Cardinals escaped with the two-run victory. Matt Bowman and Tim Wheeler each had a pair of hits in the win. Orleans will host Hyannis tonight, while Falmouth hosts Cotuit.

Harwich 6, Wareham 5
The Mariners got a walkoff win as Tommy Medica knocked in Joe Sanders in the bottom of the ninth for the win. Medica had a pair of RBI in the win. Sanders, Brian Kemp and Jeff Cusick all had two hits for the Mariners, who sit on top of the East Division. Harwich will travel to Brewster tonight while Wareham travels to Chatham.

Brewster 4, Hyannis 1
The Whitecaps kept pace with the surprising Mariners as they defeated Hyannis in six innings on Thursday. Rob Gilliam picked up the win, firing six strong innings, allowing six hits and one earned run. Derek Poppert had a pair of hits and David DiNatale drove in a pair of runs. Brewster will battle with fellow East leaders, Harwich tonight, while Hyannis travels to Orleans.
