REGIONAL —

Bourne 1, Orleans, 0
Heavy fog forced an early end to Bourne pitcher Nick McCully's perfect game. McCully didn't allow a base runner while striking out five. Orleans starter Eric Ericson also pitched well, allowing only a first inning run and seven hits in his five innings of work. Jordan Henry had the lone RBI and two base hits for the Braves. Orleans will host Y-D tonight, while Bourne plays Falmouth.

Chatham 3, Hyannis 2
The A's moved into a tie for second place in the East with a win over Hyannis. Bobby Hernandez picked up the win pitching six innings, allowing two runs on eight hits. Corey Olson went 3-for-3 and Grant Green collected another hit to raise his average to .431, just a point off Nick Liles league-leading .432 average. The A's closer, Kyle Boxberger picked up his fifth save of the summer. Chatham will play at Harwich tonight while Hyannis hosts Cotuit.

Brewster 3, Cotuit 2
The Whitecaps extended their lead in the East, while starter Tim Clubb earned his third win of the summer. Clubb pitched seven innings, allowing only his first earned run of the season as the Whitecaps earned their seventh win of the summer. Mike Freeman had two hihts and drove in all three Brewster runs, two in the second and another run in the fifth. Cotuit made it a one-run game in the ninth, but Nick Christiani closed the door for the save. Brewster will play Wareham tonight, while Cotuit plays at Hyannis.

Wareham, 3, Harwich 2
The Gatemen got a walkoff base hit off the bat of Ryan Pineda in the bottom of the 10th inning as Wareham handed Harwich their second straight loss. Pineda also hit a homerun earlier in the game. JT Wise had a pair of hits, as did Tommy Medica for the Mariners. Harwich will host Chatham tonight, while Wareham travels to Brewster.

Y-D 5, Falmouth 4
Trailing by a pair of runs entering the ninth inning, Falmouth got a run but couldn't get the game-tying run as they lost to Y-D on Saturday during the Hall of Fame game in Brockton. Ryan Ortiz went 2-for-3 with an RBI while Jerry Sullivan picked up the win with six innings of work. Y-D will get back to work tonight in Orleans and Falmouth will host Bourne.
