Cape League results for July 3

REGIONAL -

Chatham 6, Falmouth 5
The A's got the winning run across the plate in the bottom of the tenth inning last to take down Falmouth 6-5. Kyle Bellows led off the inning with a double and advanced to third on a throwing error. Bellows came in to score the winning run later in the inning off an error. Falmouth's A.J. Pollack had a pair of hits while Bellows had three hits for Chatham as did Kyle Seager. Chatham will play Orleans tonight while Falmouth plays at Cotuit.

Hyannis 5, Harwich 4
In 13 innings, the Mets finally put the game away with two runs in the bottom of the inning after Harwich had scored a run in the top of the 13th to take the lead. Joey Gonzales had four hits for the Mets. Harwich only managed six hits in the loss, including a pair by D.J. Belfonte. Harwich will hots Brewster tonight, while Hyannis travels to Y-D.

Orleans 4, Wareham 2
Rob Rasmussen picked up his second win of the season as he pitched six strong, allowing two earned runs while striking out six. Alex Hassan had a pair of hits for the Cardinals while Cole Figueroa drove in two runs. Raynor Campbell had a pair of hits for the Gatemen. Orleans will host Chatham tonight, while Wareham plays at Bourne.
