COCA COLA PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Jack Armstrong, Wareham RHP Wareham starter Jack Armstrong (Vanderbilt) has been named this week's Coca-Cola Pitcher of the Week. The 6-7 righty earned the honor with a complete game shutout over Hyannis on Monday, July 6. Armstrong shut down a high-powered Mets lineup that had scored a total of 15 runs in their previous two games, pitching the Gatemen to a 4-0 win. This week's Coca-Cola Player of the Week is Falmouth's
Todd Cunningham (Jacksonville State). The Commodore centerfielder had a stellar week at the plate, hitting .474 with nine hits, five runs batted in, a double and a triple.
